If you are looking for something sweet, it doesn’t mean you have to reach for the cake and ice cream. Here’s one healthy option that is also a viable afternoon snack.
~ 1 apple ( Honeycrisp or Granny Smith apples are my favorite!)
~ About 2 TBSPs of all natural peanut butter
~ About 1 TBSP of raw, all natural honey ( Savannah Bee Company’s Wildflower or Tupelo Honey work well with Honeycrisp or Granny Smith apples!)
~ Cut the apple into 1/8 or 1/4 sections
~ Dab a bit of the all natural peanut butter and then a small drop of honey on each slice of apple.
A cup of Zhena’s Vanilla Chai Black Tea with a dab of steamed almond milk completes the dessert!
